Join the Teton County Health Department for their FREE 3-part Summer Speaker Series @ Black Diamond!
Each program session will include a facilitated presentation by a featured speaker along with information on mental health resources in the community. Each session will be held at Black Diamond Store, 160 W Pearl Ave. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with light refreshments and the presentations will run from 6 to 7 p.m.
The program schedule is as follows:
Session One: Speaking Up for Safety, Wednesday, June 25
Strategies of effective communication for safety and risk management with
winter and summer guides from Jackson Hole Mountain Guides
Session Two: Coping After Injury, Wednesday, July 16
Navigating mental health challenges and coping strategies for recovery after injury with Francine Bartlett, DPT, ATC, RYT from Medicine Wheel Wellness
Session Three: Slowing Down in the Mountains, Wednesday, Aug. 13
A mindful approach with nature as a means to prevent burnout in a high-intensity community with Mike Shouvlin, LCSW from Mental Health and Recovery Services
